The team of Astitiva recognises the hardships faced by the people who unfortunately are poor. The hunger consumes them along with the harsh weather conditions and the devastating consequence of not having a shelter. With that being said, the team organised a food drive where we distributed 91 packed boxes of warm, delicious and nutritious khichdi to the needy. We visited the Aurangabad railway station and the seven hills region where this drive came to life. It brought us immense joy to be able to give back to the society and do our part as citizens to fill the stomachs of those who looked disastrously uncared for.

The Astitva team recently visited the Urmi Aashram where we met aspiring young boys who were passionate about their dreams. We distributed pizzas, the delicacy that is extremely common to this generation which alas was something that they had never tried. We had a deeply enriching interactive session where we asked them to introduce themselves in turn doing so ourselves. We asked them about their dreams, aims and goals in life and assured them that we'd try our best to help and assist them in achieving those. We had a fun round of quiz on sports, politics, government and entertainment where we came across engrossed faces as we filled them up with recent events and global issues. We are filled with gratitude to have had this blissful privilege of interacting with them and will forever cherish this experience.
